Our Lady of Sorrows Icon

This icon of Our Lady or Sorrows was painted for Mother Magdalene by Sr. Amapola when she was a novice. It is based on the Theotokos of Vladimir, a 12th-century Byzantine Icon to which is attributed many miracles, including saving Russia from invasion.

This is a high quality reproduction of the original painting. It is mounted and sealed on cherry that is finished with linseed oil and bees wax. The original image is out of square.
