We have been using benches like these daily during silent prayer for over 20 years. They allow you to kneel for extended periods of time with greater comfort. They work great at home, a quiet place outside, or your local adoration chapel. 

We make this bench ourselves using only hand tools and traditional methods St. Joseph would have used. It is made entirely of white pine, joined with hot hide glue, and sealed with beeswax. Given the hand made nature of the bench and the variety of wood grain each bench varies slightly in appearance.

These benches are most comfortable when used barefoot or with flexible shoes.
The 7inch bench is suitable for most people 6 foot and under. The 9'' is better for taller people, people with very stiff ankles or who would like to wear boots or shoes.
